Declutter to Downsize

Making the decision to move to a smaller home is a big decision and getting TaskMasters involved early in the process was John’s best decision.

John’s partner had passed away and he was living in the family home of many years. John knew he had to downsize, but he was feeling overwhelmed with the process and how he was going to go about this enormous task on his own.

TaskMasters worked alongside John for several weeks leading up to getting his house on the market systematically going through every room in his home including the garage to help John decide what he wanted to take with him, what could be sold on his behalf and what was able to be donated or discarded.

Declutter to Downsize/
Pack & Move

Sometimes all you need is someone else to work alongside you. Deirdre was struggling with making decisions about how to downsize, what to keep and what to move on.

TaskMasters came to Deirdre’s rescue and with a few focused sessions we were able to guide Deirdre in her decision making process and make a plan. With our practical approach we soon had her ready for her move to retirement. Packing up was much simpler once these decisions had been made and the donations to charity had been gratefully accepted and removed.

The move went seamlessly and with additional resources to ensure the unpack and set up in her new villa was efficient Deirdre was all settled in her new villa by late afternoon.

Estate Clearing

Sometimes family are surprised by what lands on their plate! Rob was faced with the daunting task of clearing his sister’s home unexpectedly. His sister was an avid collector and the house required much sorting and organising.

TaskMasters, worked alongside Rob to quickly and efficiently sort through the house contents putting aside items for family members. We organised the removal of the remaining items for donation to charity and rubbish removal and arranged a thorough exit clean.

The house was then able to be staged and put on the market for sale.

Pack and Move

TaskMasters were called in to assist Lindsay with his move to retirement following the passing of his wife. A plan was made for the move, with his family offering to do most of the declutter to downsize.

His home sold quickly and Lindsay enlisted our services to organise his move, pack his household effects and unpack and set up in his new villa. Lindsay was delighted to find everything in exactly the right place.
